Q: How & where do we report municipal issues?
- Water – Joburg Water etc
- Electricity – City Power etc
- Noise violations (including barking dogs, loud music etc) – JMPD etc
- Potholes – JRA etc

Q: I want to renovate/make alterations to my home, what’s the process?
Many Melville homes are over 60 years old and permission to make changes to a property is required from the Provincial Heritage Resources Authority Gauteng (PHRAG) before the municipality will approve any plans.
